After the passing of the esteemed stallion PEPCID in 2024, Tongue River continues to build on his legacy, with his offspring’s LTE passing the $1.2 million mark.

Pepcid is an NCHA money-earning son of the No. 8 all-time leading cutting sire PEPTOBOONSMAL. The stallion arrived at Tongue River Ranch in 2004 and his first full crop arrived in 2005. His colts are intelligent, gentle, good travelers and easily trained. He is the sire of cutting, reining and ranch horse money-earners including Tongue River Ranch Bred TRR MR GUNFIGHTER (RHAA WRCA Amarillo Ranch Hand Winner), and TRR MS STRAIGHT BOON (SHOT year-end ALL Around Novice Leader). Pepcid’s dam BRAZOS LYNX was an NCHA Non-Pro breeders finalist and has also produced a AQHYA Reserve World Champion.
